97 SL2 Intermittent Engine cut off problems

So when the car is let to cool, it starts like a champ and idles smoothly. We can sit in the car and when the temp guage inside reaches a point(a little above the 1st 1/4 mark the engine will die and will not start again until the car cools off completely. It will repeat this every time. Like a swiss clock....It always dies at this temp mark on the dash. Driving or idle it's always the same.

When the car enters this no start condition(when hot)...During the cranking to restart, there's no spark to the wires and the fuel pump pressure is zero..

When the car is started...the fuel pump pressure is almost 40 psi at idle.

I'm thinking ECTS(temp sensor)...

any ideas?

Thanks in advance..
