Re: Freeze Plug location on 97 3000gt SOHC
Place breaker bar in hole of crank pulley bolt and jam against control arm.
Bump starter. (Bump is the key word)
Voila bolt is loose.
When it comes to tightening it I have an easy solution. The SOHC crank pulley has slots in it. You can jam a pry bar of some sort in there and let it jam against the control arm on the other side to allow you to tighten it to spec.
