Transmission usuall do not make noises like that.
Can you feel slack when you let up and mash down on gas?
Look over driveshaft splines and U Joints and carriers real close.
Also check engine and transmission mounts and transmission mounting bolts to engine.
Also check rear end mounting and feel for slack on pinion shaft and spider gears and ring gear and drive shaft slack from forward to backward.
