97 Ts Se 3.8
While driving back from Conn. today I noticed that my Tach was reading 3000 at 70MPH and it seemed a bit high to me, so I pulled over and checked the Tranny fluid.
Well it took 2 pints of fluid to bring it to the full mark and all seemed well for about 50 miles or so when I noticed that the same thing was happening again. Can the Vacuum modulator cause this to happen or is it the TCC Lock up in the valve body? I hate to start tearing this apart and do a half arse job. Van has 132K and has had a good history of service by the prior owner. Thanks for any help. Also How easy 1-10 is it to replace the TCC if I need to. Can it be done in a day?? Thanks
