Um, no. If you get a good kit, you won't have to
make it fit half way decent.
A guy I know has a 2g Eclipse with a "Blitz" style kit. Its urethane and its
extreme dimensions brand. He put it on in his driveway, without having to modify it at all, and it fit flawless...
I've also heard good things about Andys Auto Sport brand kits.
