you could get a little better mileage, but nothing worth 400 bucks in exhaust upgrades, and as for performance increases, the only engines that would benefit are ones with other modifications, such as high-flowing heads and a cam with a higher rpm powerband. as for the o2 sensors the previous poster mentioned, i totally agree. my 95 k-1500 with a v-6 and a 5 speed got 18 mpg in the CITY when i first bought it, but then it started burning oil, whereupon it plugged up the o2 sensor (yes, THE, for some reason i only have 1) and caused my mileage to drop to 13 on the HIGHWAY. any attempt to replace the sensor fails a week later when it gets plugged up again
