The dipstick level doesn't matter, I don't even look at them on my personal vehicles when I change the oil. I know how much they take, and I put that much in.
If the engine takes 5.5L, and you put that much in, it's full unless there's a big puddle on the ground. If I were you, the next time you change the oil, put in 4.5L, start the engine and then let the oil drain back into the pan. Check the oil, and then engrave a new "Add 1 L" line on the dipstick. Add one more liter, then engrave a new "Full" mark. Or you could find the correct dipstick.
