Hi thank you all in adavnce, I am working on a 1998 cadillac seville sls v8 4.6l vin "y"
Problems I ran into:
It has a loud whistling when u start the car up like its a vacum leak or intake manifold gasket leak when you goto rev it up,
the whistle stops till you get to a high idle then it starts to whistle again not sure what it is
I pulled these dio codes from it:
#1. P0201 #1 cylinder injector circut open
#2. P0155 02 heat circut bank 2 sensor 1
#3. P0204 #4 cylinder injector circut open
#4. P0206 #6 cylinder injector circut open
#5. P0207 #7 cylinder injector circut open
#6. P0201 #1 cylinder injector circut open
#7. P0204 #4 cylinder injector circut open
#8. P0206 #6 cylinder injector circut open
#9. P0207 #7 cylinder injector circut open
The guy took it into a shop and had a new used pcm put in and they configured it to the car but did not pull the codes but did a 27 point dio on it and came back with 360 parts per million hc's in cooling system (raw fuel) and they recomend him have the cylinder head gaskets replaced but they DID NOT pull any codes off of the pcm and he wants to save money but we need to figure out how to fix the codes above listed first before anything else
