Timing Belt Doesnt Move !
Ok guys so I just got finished rebuilding my stroker...AGAIN... lol .. well i took it for a test run... i drove it easy for a good 30min... then i started beating on it on the highway and BOOOOOM !!!! My car turned off... i tried pop starting it from a roll real quick and all it did was VROOOOOOOOM .. and no motor... so i pulled over on the side of the road... So I went to look under my hood while my buddy was cranking my motor ... and my accessery belts including alternator ... was moving once cranking motor... BUT THE TIMING BELT WOULD NOT MOVE !!!.... I have never ever seen this before... well I couldnt get a tow... so I left my car on side of road and it got impounded until I get it back out... I cant take my car apart to see what happened yet ... until i get it out of impound. So i was wondering if anyone knows what the problem might be???? I was thinking maybe the dial pin on the crank snapped off the timing sprocket so that the timing belt wont spin with the crank... but I have never seen or heard of that happening... can anyone please give me any input... also the crank is BRAND NEW ... when i put it in the stroker motor... it only has 3000 miles on whole motor... including new crank.... any thoughts appreciated...
