Ok, I'm having new tires put on my car as i'm writing this. I've changed my mind and went for a better set of tires. I realize that i was trying to save money but then thought to myself that an economy tire will only perform so well on such a fine piece of machinery.
The Dean tires i was going to have installed only had a treadwear warrenty of 40,000 miles which would only be good for 2&1/2 years . Then there is the question of the recall in which i posted in an earlier post. So.....Being that i use my car for work and do alot of combined highway & city driving i thought that the safety of a good solid tire would be the best invetment.
I went for the Goodyear Assurance Comfortred . With an 80,000 mile warrenty and many good reviews i can drive with confidence.
I'l let you all know how well the tire performs with a follow up.
