I know what you are saying, but he'd prefer to keep the car as "legal" as possible - as in, the fogs shut down when the brights are used.

Rewiring it like I said also prevents someone from accidentally leaving the fogs on by themselves when leaving the car - since they will only work when the parking and/or headlights are used - when the car beeps becuase the lights are still on upon shut-down, simply shutting the parking/head lights off will also shut down the fogs.

I even suggested your idea to him - but he won't do it like that, and I don't really blame him. His car is bone-stock - he won't even screw with an aftermarket stereo in the damn thing - he'd hate to have new battery terminals, non-stock wiring under the hood, etc. Crazy, I know, but I can see his point.

All this really requires is that the fog relay gets power from the parking light circuit rather than the headlight circuit. I'm sure I could figure it out, but if someone has already done it, some directions/pics would make the job MUCH easier.
