i've noticed on some RH wheels that they offer a 4x100 and 5x100 lug pattern on the same wheel.
is there any disadvantage to me modifying these wheels so i can save about $600-700 ++? the rim shop said they will guarantee that the wheel will balance true but will not warranty any structual damage on the wheel if additional holes has been drilled onto it.
that is the only thing i am kinda worried about. so please help... =]

What you see on most wheels are 4x100 and 4x114.5 drilled into the wheels.
Personally drill into a wheel is not such a great idea. It will decrease the integrity of the wheel. Next corner you take too hard the wheel will prolly explode.
Just find another wheel.
