well here goes guys**...you said that there was ..no output from alt. to the battery...correct? if so did you test the replacement alt for faulty diode? you may have gotten a bum reman. it happens more often than not...remember what my old boss told me...A brand new lightbulb can be bad! He owned the Auto Electric repair shop I wrote service for aprox.24yrs ago...**now you know...why I say this...everything changes in manufacturing...diode check used to be first line defence/diagnosis in the charging system.
