Are you refering to the Air tempt valve sensor motor on the right side top of heater housing?
Sometimes called actuator.
Have you tryed to recalibrate it.
Key off Pull the RDO/BATT fuse for a minute and plug in back in and turn key on and it should do it thing.
Have you checked for codes and for good engine vacuum to controls?
Any light on controls on or blinking/flashing?
