Re: abs and brake lights
That was easy. She got to the health club and when she wanted to leave it was completely dead. No engine cranking, no headlights, just some faint clicking sounds. I left work, stopped home to pick up some tools and a voltmeter and headed out. Found a varying voltage at the fuse block from 2 to 6 volts. Removed all the crap to get to the battery and put the probes directly on the battery. A steady 12.68 volts there. Checked the positive connection and it felt tight but loosened very easily. Tightened it up and we were good to go. Another expensive tow and diagnostic at the local shop averted.
