Anyways, Alberta was great, got me a nice tan for the ladies, went to a race at a small (2 mile) track in Calgary. Very few people were there, so it was nice. There were a few different races, including a couple vintage races and a 2 hour endurance race with Integras and Civics and RX7's and stuff. I took tons of pics, I'm gonna put them all up on my Webshots account. To my amazement, a genuine 1966 Ford GT40 in full race trim showed up and dominated a few races (there were supposed to be 2 GT40's there, actually, but one cracked its front airdam before the race). Also, before the races, you could pay $5 and get 3 laps around the track in the car of your choice out of a lineup of nice cars including a genuine Shelby Cobra (just a 289 or whatever, but still cool), Porsches, and BMW's. I went twice
First in a black 1993 (?) Porsche 911 Carrera RS America, then in a 400hp 300ZX TT.
As you can tell, I had a blast
