Well, there's a crucial decision to make. Option one is use a 5SFE Camry manual transmission. Easier but it's not a very good trans. Option two is use the MR2 transmission. It's LSD thus way better, but bigger and you'll need to make an entirely custom rear mount as the added size of the LSD trans covers the stock mounting location. It does
rest nicely on the cross-member though. As far as stock drive-ability though, I would say it's possible, but this car is basically a race car. We removed power-steering, A/C, heat, basically everything. You could easily keep the heat but the A/C and P/S would require a lot more custom fabrication to keep. The shift linkage is cable. If you live in Texas you're more than welcome to come look at it.
