Sorry to say it, but any epoxy or glue you put on that spot would not bond well - unless you drained the oil, removed the pan, and cleaned the oil out with degreasers and a solvent like acetone. Even then, the hot oil would eventually loosen any glue you patched the spot with.
If you have the pan off, you could get it MIG or TIG welded shut however. Before you take the pan off, make calls to welders. It can be hard to find a welder who will agree to weld aluminum castings. The welding process apparently induces stresses in the casting that might someday cause a crack nearby in the pan. Thats they reason they give, but I have had good luck with the castings I have gotten fixed that way.
