I'm actually looking at picking up a lightly used stock turbo, and just having it ported+bigger wheel. I could probably swing all of that for under five hundred with some good connections. The one thing keeping me from spending to much money is the fact that I am absolutely NOT going to screw with the boost or turbo settings till there is a dedicated tuning solution available. Its that simple. Everyone is saying this 3071 is a directo bolt. I don't care, 15 pounds of boost through a 3071 is a bit different than through a K04.
On the other hand, I am picking up a new noise maker today, and good chance I'll be going out the strip tonight. First time down the 1/4, wahoo! I'm looking for low 14s, high 13s on nothing more than dumb luck and pure will power, lol.
