I recently purchased a used 99 Tacoma with a 3.4 V-6 at auction. There is quite a severe oil leak at the adapter on the block where the oil filter would go. The filter itself is mounted in the left wheel well. I cleaned it off with brakecleaner and can see oil coming out where the adapter meets the block. Does any one know if this is a factory or aftermarket part and what size o-ring is in there. I'm taking it to a garage to have it repaired and want to have the proper seal for him. The ports for the hoses go straight up out of the adapter if that makes any difference.
