The Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) does need to be reset after rotating the tires. This lets the computer associate the correct tire location with the specific radio frequency each sensor uses. There are two ways to do this:

1. The dealer can do it using a TPMS diagnostic tool, or

2. You can do it yourself by doing the following:

Set the parking brake. Turn the ignition to run - but don't start it. Push the Driver Information Center (DIC) button until it reads TIRE LOCATIONS PRESS (checkmark) TO LEARN. Press the set/reset button. The horn will sound twice indicating the receiver is ready to learn. The TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message should display. Start with the driver side front tire and increase or decrease the tire's air pressure for five seconds or until the horn chirps, which could take up to 30 seconds. Go to the passenger side front and do the same. Next is passenger side rear, then driver side rear. When you hear the horn chirp for the driver side rear, the process is done. Turn the key to LOCK. Now adjust all tire pressures to correct pressure and you're done!

BTW, you have up to 2 minutes at each tire to get the horn chirp, or you have to start over.

The order you do this is critical. You must start at the driver front, then, in order, go to passenger front, passenger rear, driver rear.

Sounds close to the Vette. I had to hold a magnet over the valve stem until the horn chirped. Thanks. I'll let him know.
