hey guys. i just installed a remote start/alarm in my 89 c1500 3 days ago. now heres the problem. when i remote start it, the battery is not getting charged, so that the next time i try to start the truck,(remote or key) it wont start.(ive been stranded 3 times and had to get a jump). ive had the truck 3 months and i never had a problem with the battery(new) or alternator. so my question is what could be causing the battery to drain with the remote start and not when i start it with the key.other then the wiring(i had the alarm guys check it 3 times). im running out of options and i wanted to see if you guys had some ideas before i take it out of town. theres not alot car alarm shops in my town. sorry this was long, just tryin to make sense. any help is greatly appreciated!!! thanks guys!!
