You can remove the door panel and disconnect harness to the window regulator motor. Use an inexpensive voltmeter to detect if the motor gets power. If you get power, the motor is gone, if you don't, the problem is somewhere in the wiring (make sure to operate the window switch while detecting voltage). New motors are expensive, you can pobably get a used regulator on ebay with a functional motor. You should also replace the plastic guides in the regulator. Check how 'lose' your regulator is as well. I have redesigned both of mine when they became sloppy and now they work like a charm!
