Good selection of Toyota's there! But now I'm gonna do my little schpiel for Ford:

A good, cheap car that can be made fast easily is a Fox-body Mustang with the 5.0L V8. You can pick one up for really cheap, there are a ton of them out there. Just make sure it's in decent condition.

As far as domestic's go, they are very lightweight, and can be made to handle well with the right suspension mods. Don't let the solid axle turn you off.

There's a TON of aftermarket support for the car, and generally, the parts are cheap. Also, there's a wide knowledge base out there for the car.

The downside though is that it has poor gas mileage. But if you want performance, that's gonna happen with almost ANY car. A good thing to remember is "Horsepower = Money"
