Best thing to do is if you have a donor vehicle and it has everything in place ie wiring harness, computer, and everything else the it will work if you swap everything. If you have a 4.0 and the donor engine is a 4.0 after you pull it and the tranny out of the donor car before you put it in your's great suggestion would be to change the CPS and rear main oil seal as they would be alot easier to change with the engine on a stand. But as long as you get the engine, tranny, transfer case, ECM, TCM, and wiring harnesses it should be rather painless to do. That is assuming that everything on the donor engine worked in the first place.
