There is also another online source for hard to find used parts:
www.car-part.com . I found many parts that I couldn't get locally for many of my vehicles through this site.You enter your vehicle info and then select the part you are looking for and then you are taken to a results page that lists all the salvage yards across the country that have that particular part in their inventory. It also lists the condition in most cases along with price and contact info. You can even refine your search to yards closer to your proximity.
