Re: Car Cover
I'd cover it so it's not in the sun. It would take them alot of work to uncover to mess with it at night. You might notice if they tried also so I'd say it's best.
I couldn't find a good cover to fit the spyder with the high back spoiler so...
1 fleece blanket from Kmart ~$20 bucks
1 large tarp from harbor freight ~$3 dollars
1 Spool of 50 foot of rope Home depot ~5
4 carabeeaners (sp?) tru-value impulse buy on checkout 50 cents a piece or something..
I put the rope through the holes of the tarp. I used the extra rope to go through spokes on my wheels. Tied one end in tarp then loop through wheel spoke back up to tarp and carabeen it to another hole. this pulls it tight. The rope isn't doing any damage to my rims (though they are just stockers so if it did I wouldn't care)
The fleece blanket I laid over the car before I cover it so that it doesn't rub the paint abrasively with the tarp. You may need two. I just cover from spoiler over to windshield and not the front of my car. Blanket doesn't get wet because tarp is water resistant enough.. It's only covered in winter so it's not going to mold anyway for me. I let snow fall on it and build up to 2-3 inches before I have time to clear it off most days. You don't have to worry about stuff on yours but you still don't want rubbing if wind moves the tarp or something.
