thanks, i tried it and it is the dimmer switch. I bought an off brand from autozone, so i think that may be the issue. The wires in the back of the switch are off a little... I play with them and adjust them and the lights turn on. Thinking of replacing the part for the second time
But for right now i will play with thw wires until i get fed up.
