You need to start unpluging.
Check wiring to and Unplug the compustar thing.
And make sure a mounting screw did not screw into a wire some place
Unplug wiring to rear brake lights and trailer plug.
Also the high mount stop light.
It feeds off of the same fuse as regular brake light.
Also check wiring plug in wires at brake pedal.
With all of them unpluged and it still blows fuse it points to turnsignal switch.
Also check steering column wiring to turn signal switch.`
The brake lights feed threw turn signal switch and can short out inside it.
