i'd rather put sugar in his gas tank, but damn man that's really fucked up....but hope u get better man...you have every right to kick his ass...and go for head shots...if he gets punched in the face, then he's less likely to come back at you if you threw out the first punch straight to his nose...or if you wore steel-toed boots and kicked him square in the nuts....
