Question '92 XJ Cherokee--is it time to say goodbye?

Took the baby to the shop to get the exhaust system checked out. One thing has led to another...now we're talking tie rod ends, steering gear AND a complete new exhaust system...totaling mucho buck$. Wife won't drive the thing any longer due to the steering being rather loose. I've replaced a lot of parts over the past few years.

Bought in May 2001. Now has 170K miles. I've replaced: wiper motors (front and rear), water pump, radiator and hoses, steering gear, shocks x 4, windshield, fuel pump and sending unit, front brake rotors and pads, rear brake shoes, newer tires, decent battery. Heck, I even fixed all the friggin oil leaks (rear main seal, etc.)

Anyway, I came to post here because I know there are some real genuine Jeep lovers. I think it's time to pass this along to someone who's looking for a good running Jeep. This would be an awesome donor (or receiver for that matter). Body is in decent shape. If you don't do the repair work yourself, be prepared to spend $1,500 in repairs. Worth it to someone out there?
