Question on removing inside bearings

I've removed the front brakes from my car to replace the rotors.

Pic of new rotor on hub.

I want to repack the bearing while I'm there. The bearing next to the castle nut falls right out of the hub. The inside bearing is held in place by a seal or something.

Here is the pic.

How do I get the inside bearing out? Do you have to press out the seal? I don't have a press at the house. I tried to tap it out with the plastic handle of a large screw driver. I didn't hit it too hard, as I don't want to damage anything.
Suggestions? Thanks for the help.
