Ok,the rubbers in the Tamiya 1/12 scale kit are of very thin thickness, more similar to the true tires and sanding can damage them.
I would like to eliminate the small defect that has the rubber in the assembly to the rim as seems that the edge of the wheel is too big;in alternative at the glueing I could insert in the rubber the correct quantity of absorbent paper from kitchen to make a kind of bun so that holds the shoulder of the tires in contact with the channel of the wheels.
In the photo a detail taken from one of my finished models :the Renault RE 20 formula one,that has on a large use of Alclad II and other kinds of metallic paint,the idea is to visually check what color mostly draws near to the true metal and paint the wheels centers in the same color.
