Yes it's easy cheesy to by pass. I've installed different kinds of video systems in cars and lemme explain how it works first. YOu know how the "BRAKE" light comes on when you pull your e-brake up? well according to the instructions and the wiring diagram, they want you to tap that signal wire into your ebrake. that's how it knows if the car is off or on. Who would drive w/ it on?!
Anyway just tap that wire to your accesories that come on when the car is started or go to a constant, it's your choice. But that's how you do it.
