Hehe

Well, I'll even take a Evo 1. Can't be picky if you don't have a car :P

Better give some backgroud before you call me an enthusiast.

I'm 18, fresh out of HS, going to art school next year, etc. My dad, who has always kept me with a deep interest in driving has been training me. He's one of the best drivers I know, and I say that with alot of experience actually. If you can picture me learning how to drift in a '89 Plymouth Voyager (aka Dodge Caravan aka 4 other frickin cars) minyvan. It's a piece, has about 160k on it, but it accelerates nicely, and we haven't had to put much into it.

My fathers recently came into some money, and after paying all our debts off (great feeling), he's gonna put some down on either a 2001 Deville or Towncar. I'm just sitting on my permit right now, so he won't let me anywhere near it til i take the few hours to go get my liscense. At this point I can proudly say I'm a much more capable driver than most of the kids arround here, especially for a sub-middle class kid that didn't go to driving school

So anyway's, I've been saving up a pot for a few years, and a couple month's ago I decided on the Lancer. I'm currently at arround 26K, and by 2003 I should have enough, maybe a little bit extra.

Since that damn van is pry gonna fall apart on me, and we want to dump it before noevember's registration anyways, I'm thinking on putting a few grand into some little piece of shit until I get my lancer. Figure it as something to tweak my skills on without having to worry too much about dents and scratches.

So, any suggestions? Take note that I'm 6'5", so I won't fit into anything. Oh and if you say Honda, I'll, I'll, buy C-Tech, Type-P, and NOX decals to put all over it. Oh, and some Lexas emblems.

Aaanyways, suggestions would be appreciated, and now you know me a little better.
