I assume this is the Skyline you started, and that you painted it with Tamiya primer and paint?

Yes, the paint and primer can most definitely be stripped off for repainting. The best thing to use for stripping Tamiya lacquers is 99% or 91% isopropyl alcohol. Place the body in a coverable container, fill it with the alcohol, cover and let soak. The alcohol will soften and eventually dissolve the paint. Once the paint is softened, you can scrub the softened paint off with an old toothbrush (wear goggles!). This way you can safely, easily and completely clean the body back to bare plastic.
