ive owned 2 tauraus a 1990 model with 3.0 and sold it with over 400,000 on it with almost no troubles and still didnt use oil.That caused me to buy my second 1 a 1999 model wow what a difference ive had nothing but trouble out of it tranny, heater, alt.,and more but the 3.0 keeps on going now at 200 thosand plus. I bought both used and to be honest when i researched this car{after purchase} it was a rental from la. i guess you win some and lose some but for all the chevy people who likes to knock fords ive owned 3 chevys and the fords ive owned were far more reliable
