You can get a trial version of photoshop.. I used to have one of PS 6. Basically it lets you use all the basic functions of PS but it doesn't let you save, print, or paste copied images on your clipboard outside of photoshop. The only way to save your work is to take a screenshot and this sucks because you sometimes don't get the whole picture and you lose all structuring of layers.
Its much easier to download an illegal full-version copy of Photoshop 7.0 off the internet using Morpheus or better yet Kazaa. Also the full version retails in comp stores for like $699
