I don't know which mfgr is easiest to modify but cars from the same mfgr usually use the same method for attaching the parts,specially the wheels.
I don't look for ease of modifying when I buy,if it's something that needs customizing I just do it !
I would have reservations about major modifications on a $70 or more
diecast !
I buy cars that are on sale that may have parts I need !

The wheels on my pickup were ground down to match the backing plate surface on the truck then glued on with epoxy.
When lowering the truck the steering function is almost always disabled,so mine are posed in a turned position.
