is it contour putty in a greyish tube? if so, i've worked with it before and personally i hated working with it. it only cost me like a buck but it can cause so much more damage to the model by mucking up the surface. it doesnt sand very well. i would pick up some better stuff. Model masters putty is better IMO. Ironically its also made by testors but it does work better and is easier to sand smooth.

thats pretty sick that you're making all the audio equipment in your model. sorry i have no pics of it tho.
