Well, I had my face shield up to the notch right above my eyes, but I had my head turned down... I had hit a TON of bugs, and I felt unsafe riding with it all the way down since I wasn't sure if I would be able to see an animal run out in front of me...
At any rate, PA law states that you have to have protective eye-gear at all times, and this guy didn't feel like pulling over the speeding cars or bike in front of me, but instead chose to hassle me about my faceshield. I managed to get away with a written warning, but this area is a "nice" neighborhood, and as a chick on a bike at 10:30pm he chose to target me...
How lovely. So I got to ride home with a buggy face shield.
