I have a 1984 733i and I have been told there is no service manual for this year & model car. Bentley told me to get a manual that covers 533i and 633i for most stuff. Get a Bosch manual for the fuel injection system. A BMW dealer mechanic told me the best thing to get is the manual on cd that comes from BMW Service Group. They are hard to find but once in a while you can find them on e-bay. Hope this helps.
