If you put it between the MAF and throttle body, when the BPV actually does its job it will open and suck in air. Therefore by passing the MAF!! When was the last time our cars were supposed to run w/o a MAF? 
The BPV should be between the MAF and filter... as close to the MAF as possible.

Well, you did not hear it and you did not think it was correct because it was WRONG. I stand corrected! Only thing that worries me is that it is only the 2nd day at work after vacations and I am already "malfunctioning".
