Volkswagon GTI 337 poll

Don't hate me... But I can't stop thinking about the GTI 337. The car is a dream looks wise and performance wise. Imported straight from germany these GTIs are a special edition and only 1750 will be shipped to the US. I have had the opportunity to sit in both a 2002 civic si and the GTI 337 and I must say all around the GTI 337 just leaves the civic si in a shadow of its brillance.. I have in no way abandoned my honda roots, however I feel the here in the US we are getting the bad end of the deal. Before you get frustrated and chase me out of this forum read the specifications below. I will admit the JDM civic Type-R hatchback looks pretty damn cool. As cool as the GTI thats a tough one.
Performance:
GTI 337
180hp 1.8 liter Turbocharged 4 cylinder 20v engine combined with a 6 speed dual pinion manual transmission.
0-60 6.4 seconds
1/4 mile 14.8 seconds
Lowered Sports suspension
Stainless steel performance exhaust system (I think it is made by borla)
Civic si
160hp 2.0 liter i-VTEC 4 cylinder 16v engine combined with a 5speed auto or 5 speed manual transmission
0-60 ?
1/4 mile ?
Mildly stiffened suspension.
Exterior
GTI 337
18" BBS RC wheels
Front and rear chin lip spoilers
Side skirts
Civic Si
nothing special
15" alloy wheels (the last edition Si wheels looked better!)
Interior
Both have recaro seats
Price
MSRP
GTI $22,250
Civic $19,460

Just judging the specs personally I think the GTI is a much better bang for the buck!
