Just thought I'd share my favorite kill with you all. Last week my brother in law was down with his 2001 VW GTI 1.8T. He has an upgraded ECU and makes 197 HP and 240 TQ. He kept talking trash about my V, so we had to throw down!
Well, there was no compition. I beat him 4 times in the 1/4 mile. In his defence he couldn't get his power to the road. If he launched at over 2000 rpm, he would just sit and smoke the tires. If he launched under 2000 rpm, the turbo wasn't spooled and the lag killed him. But, when we ran with a 20 mph rolling start, he beat me by 1.5 car lenghts, but, I did miss third.
