So you drove the car in to the dealership with no noises?, they carried
out work which involved removal of the driveshafts, the car is
completed, you pick it up & there is a noise that wasn’t there before ????
It sounds like someone has damaged the joint when removing or refitting &
may not have even noticed. The wheels & suspension
might take its toll on wheel bearings (possibly) but I have been
modifying Nissans for years now & have never replaced a CV joint
inner or outer due to that cause (only damage due to split gaitors).
I think its time to speak to the dealers service manager and do some
jumping up & down, ask to see the joints that have been removed as
damage should be fairly obvious.
It sounds like you’ve been a loyal customer & spent plenty of money
with them, so it might be time for the to put their hands up.
I do not think you should not be paying for that repair !
