Exclamation Stock Boost Gauge

Unfortunately the kid who told you about the stock boost gauge is right. It is not an accurate tuning tool. The first thing you will hear from any experienced DSM tuner (esp 2G owners) is that you need a proper boost gauge before attempting any other mod's. From my own personal experience, when I was building my first IC pipe, I blew a connection and was leaking boost badly (I was building 8psi instead of 14) However the stock gauge still showed that I was at max boost. Plus if you will notice the stock gauge has no actual numbers on it, just a plus and minus sign. If you try to tune soley off you stock gauge you will end up over boosting and blowing your motor. The $50 a real gauge costs is invaluable.
