Junk yards is an excellent idea.

Make sure you have the system serviced by a professional shop after you find that part. Your also going to need a NEW receiver/dryer being the system was open for so long.

Your system, being exposed to outside air for so long is definately going to need a total service before refrigerent is added. Make sure an A/C specialist does this work for you.
