I went with Skunk coilovers for springs and Koni(yellows) for shocks. They ride pretty good. I would have to say go with the ground controls cause they have a better spring rate, I would never go with a par of nonadjustable coils again.. Dont ever cut coils either thats just a bad and stupid idea. If you are going to do it do it right. Replace both springs and shocks cause your stock shocks probably wont last very long especially if you are very low.
You may also want to look into tie bars and sway bars if you are doing autoX racing or anything of that sort.
If you lower you car make sure you have enough wheel clearance so that you tires wont rub under extreme cornering.
