Toyota Echo's (at least the one I've [unfortunately] had experience with) had a light in the instrument cluster, but also one for the pass. seat belt on the center console that never goes out until you buckle that seat belt up. So if you are driving by yourself in one, you either have to buckle nobody up in the pass. seat or deal with the annoying light on the console
